After the severe storm Hans, we at Tecomatic received many requests for our concrete mattresses for places destroyed as a result of the extreme weather conditions.
One of those who contacted us was NCC, which had been commissioned by a client to repair a slope outside Glysisvallen in Hudiksvall. Because of the strong water flows, almost the entire slope had eroded away, which was a recurring problem. On previous occasions, the customer has fixed this with fillers, but now requested a more long-term and sustainable solution.
Tecomatic went out to the site to document with pictures, take accurate measurements and create a detailed drawing. After NCC had given the green light for the project, we started to manufacture the concrete mattress in our production premises in Kalmar. For this project we chose to use our filter point mattress FP200.
