Sediment removal in ongoing port project

Table of contents

We are currently carrying out sediment removal in a port area using suction dredging, a method where the dredged material is transported directly to a barge for further handling.

The barge receiving the dredged material can be seen in the image. A mobile crane is used to position the pump correctly throughout the operation. This project is a good example of the type of water-related assignments we regularly undertake. It forms part of a larger turnkey project, where the final solution includes an erosion protection beam.

Sediment removal in ports is an important measure for maintaining both functionality and environmental quality in sensitive aquatic environments. We manage the entire process, from planning to execution. The work requires precision and close coordination between several machines and work stages. Continuity is essential to ensure safe and efficient operations.
