Floating wetland
Natural water purification processes are created with floating wetlands.
Floating wetlands
Floating wetlands are an environmentally friendly and energy-efficient way to purify water while requiring minimal maintenance. Floating wetlands create natural water purification processes that reduce pollutants before they reach the recipient.
Floating wetlands have multiple uses and are used to improve the quality of different types of water, to create a favorable environment for microorganisms, to restore wetlands, to protect against erosion and to decorate ponds.
Some of the benefits
- Improves water quality in stormwater, leachate and wastewater ponds.
- Produced from recycled PET plastic
- Completely non-toxic
- Has large water contact area, 1m2 plant bed corresponds to 180 m2 of wetland.
- Withstands a load of about 45 kg/m2
- The modular system makes it easy to create formations
- Lifetime estimated to be at least 15 years
- Can remain in the pond even during winter time
