Tecomatic recently completed work at the Hissmofors hydropower plant on behalf of Jämtkraft. By installing approximately 230 square meters of colored FP240 concrete mattress (filter point mattress), the slope that runs upstream at the Hissmofors power station is protected.
In order to better blend in with the environment and surroundings, we also colored the concrete mattress.
“Protecting slopes is a common area of use for Tecomatic’s concrete mattresses and something we have long experience with. It requires minimal preliminary work and is therefore a quick and efficient solution. In this case, the customer had already made a measurement and some adjustment of the slope. After that, we were able to install and complete the project with good results in only 1.5 days,” says Torbjörn Svensson, Tecomatic’s business area manager for erosion protection.
