The new quay creates opportunities for larger ships to dock and helps to strengthen logistics capacity in the region. To ensure long-term durability and protection against erosion, Peab has contracted Tecomatic to install concrete mattresses as erosion protection.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The quay, which is scheduled for completion in 2027, is part of a larger port area where extensive logistics areas are also being built. The port area will be the logistics center of northern Sweden and will include more than 60,000 square meters of material handling space upon completion. Sustainability is a major focus in this project, and as part of that, a sustainable and effective erosion protection is needed. Using Tecomatics concrete mattresses is considered the best solution to achieve this goal.   <\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;Tecomatics concrete mattresses have become the obvious choice for many of our customers, especially when it comes to erosion protection of harbors and quays.
