Last week we successfully completed a test casting of the concrete mattresses for the project at the Port of Skellefte\u00e5, which now enables full-scale casting for the port’s first mattresses. <\/p>\n\n

With a focus on sustainability and long-term stability, we will use Swerock’s ECO concrete in the more than 7,800 square meters of concrete mattresses that we are constructing. By replacing part of the cement with alternative binders such as slag, we can reduce the CO\u2082 emissions of concrete by up to 50%. <\/p>\n\n

The test casting is an important milestone in our sustainability work and a step forward in driving innovative, climate-smart solutions. We look forward to following the project closely and contributing to a future-proof and sustainable infrastructure. <\/p>\n\n
