Tecomatic is on site in Karlskrona to reinforce the Kungsbro quay, which is in need of extensive renovation to ensure future sustainability. Our innovative solutions allow us to repair the quay instead of rebuilding it, saving time and reducing both costs and environmental impact.<\/p>\n\n

The work on the King’s Bridge Quay involves several steps to ensure long-term sustainability and stability. To protect the surrounding aquatic environment, we have installed a silt curtain for turbidity protection and carried out suction dredging to prepare the bottom for the erosion protection. A concrete mattress has then been laid as erosion protection in a permanent form, and finally we have carried out a marine casting with foam concrete to strengthen the quay structure itself. <\/p>\n\n

The project is characterized by close cooperation between client, designer and contractor – an approach that ensures high quality throughout the process. At the same time, marine archaeological investigations are underway on a nearby 17th century wreck, highlighting the unique historical environment in which we operate. <\/p>\n\n
