protect against traffic noise from Riksv\u00e4g 40, one of West Sweden&#8217;s busiest roads. About 17 meters up in the embankment, a stormwater pipe that collects water from both the road surface and the surrounding ground. There was no functioning solution to divert this water, which risked delaying the progress of the project. To protect the channel against erosion, a form-fitted UCS100 concrete mattress was installed: a dense, evenly thick textile that was manufactured after on-site measurement and adapted to the ground&#8217;s curves and level differences. The mattress was produced as a finished mold in our factory and could be easily transported to the job site. On site, it was grouted with customized concrete. This method eliminated the need for heavy transport and on-site casting, making the work more efficient and minimizing the climate impact.
